Really solid case for why river cruising works better than hopping between sites in Egypt. The point about removing constant-travel stress while still hitting temples and landmarks is underrated, most people optimize for checklist coverage but end up exhausted. I did a similar trip down the Danube a few years back and relized that having a moving basecamp lets you actually absob the places instead of just photographing them.
