Budget Adventures in Dublin

With a bit of planning, Dublin can be explored on a budget without missing out on its charm. Start your Friday with a guided tour of the Little Museum of Dublin to discover the city’s recent history, then enjoy a fresh, organic salad at Sprout. In the afternoon, visit the Museum of Literature Ireland (MoLI), where free entry is offered on the first Friday evening of each month. For dinner, try Korean fried chicken at Chimac, followed by a film at the Irish Film Institute.

On Saturday, step back in time at Marsh’s Library and St Patrick’s Cathedral, both steeped in history. For lunch, indulge in a gourmet cheese toastie at Loose Canon in George’s Street Arcade. Spend the afternoon touring the National Gallery of Ireland and the National Museum on Kildare Street, both offering free entry and fascinating exhibitions.
